The wait for brand new 2020 992.1 or more commonly know as the iconic 911 is now over! The reworked 3-litre flat-6 behind the rear axle has been given new turbos, bigger intercoolers, electric wastegates, and uses piezoelectric fuel injectors to make 443 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque that is fully available at just 2300 rpm, a bit higher up the rev range than the outgoing one but there’s more of it now. In fact, this is basically the same power as the last-gen GTS and the factory acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds (on a 4S with sport chrono) is actually quicker despite the 992 being heavier.
